Year was 2002 and I just bought a 2001 BMW 323i.
Problem was insurance in New York City is $10,000 a year. I was only 21.

Solution drive it to florida for cheaper insurance. About $3100.

Drove non-stop except for gas 17 hours(1200 miles trip). I was basically doing 60-120mph(Car had a limiter). Georgia is a fun state . Only 2 hours to go and I stop for gas. Enter the highway doing 80mph. Police got me.

Problem: Title and registration was not in my name. Had no insurance and the tags(plates) were not mine.

Hand cuffed in the police car, I explained my story. That I bought the car in the state of Georgia (because I had Georgia Tags,my uncles). I was driving it to florida to get insurance. 20 minutes later he gave a couple of HUGE tickets fines and even let me keep my uncles tags. I was extremely happy that he didn't think that the car was stolen OR I would be sitting in a cell in some small town about to get ........

A few months later
Solution: A good lawyer and a few thousands of dollars just got probation.

Four day weekend, BMW, seeing the eastcoast and a nice cop = PRICELESS.

Fastest I have gone, well in excess of 160.

Fastest I have been caught? Nothing, either I don't get caught or they can't catch me. 95+ around hairpin turns=cops here turn tail and go home, they know their driving
Folks, do not do what I have attempted. Two broken noses, a broken foot, and a punctured oil pan have all come from this, as well as a full front end suspension rebuild after I TWISTED the front axles racing. You may "only" run off hte road, but lemme tell ya, that can hurt bad.

I believe he meant Km/H

And I got caught at 97 in a 55 in my old ford escort. I've never been caught doing the 130+ speeds I've done in my new car, which is now my wife's daily driver so I don't get to use it much. My speeding days are all but over...a Jeep Wrangler isn't much of a speed demon. 10mph over on a good day and it sucks my gas dry quick.

Here is how to get out of a speeing ticket

Officer: May I see your driver's license?

Driver: I don't have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.

Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?

Driver: It's not my car. I stole it.

Officer: The car is stolen?

Driver: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the glove box when I was putting my gun in there.

Officer: There's a gun in the glove box?

Driver: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the trunk.

Officer: There's a BODY in the TRUNK?!?!?

Driver: Yes, sir.

Hearing this, the officer immediately called his captain. The car was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the driver to handle the tense situation:

Captain: Sir, can I see your license?

Driver: Sure. Here it is. It was valid.

Captain: Who's car is this?

Driver: It's mine, officer. Here's the owner's card. The driver owned the car.

Captain: Could you slowly open your glove box so I can see if there's a gun in it?

Driver: Yes, sir, but there's no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the glove box.

Captain: Would you mind opening your trunk? I was told you said there's a body in it.

Driver: No problem. Trunk is opened; no body.

Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, stole the car, had a gun in the glove box, and that there was a dead body in the trunk.

Driver: Yeah, I'll bet the lying s.o.b. told you I was speeding, too.

At the gun part you'd probably be handcuffed, then at the body part he'd open the trunk see nothing and then double your speeding ticket.

I'm writing this from a hotel room in Virginia, where only today, I got a ticket for 92.

I tried my old line, the cop looks at the speedometer, and says, "Bullshit, son."

Gave me a ticket for the whole 92.

Traffic school ftl.

It's funny how I never gotten pulled over before by cops. Been driving fast in neighborhood zones (25 or 35MPH) areas at 40 to even 50+. On the streets, early in the morning. I'll go at 50 or even 60 in 40MPH zones. Never seen a cop stopping me before.

So my dad just got a C63 AMG, I took it for a drive, went 137 in a 20 mile zone, school in session and such. ended up hitting a pack of children. Jumped bond and now I am on the run in new Mexico.
